Promoter's Profile
Name :Mr. S. Sarangapani
Background : Our human hair trade is a family business and presently it is the third generation of our family which is taking the company forward. In 1920, human hair was exported to other countries from India alone. In those days, Mr. S. Sarangapani's grandfather was the exporter and supplier of human hair. The countries, which received exports of human hair, were South Africa, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia and Mauritius. These countries imported human hair like false hair, which was being used by Indian women as a kind of hairpiece to be attached to the inner hair. In 1950, Mr. Sarangapani's father was exporting human hair. In 1974, Mr. Sarangapani carried on from where his father left off and now serves as an exporter of human hair to countries all over the world. With changing fashions, the European, American, African and Asian countries started importing human hair for manufacturing wigs, hairpieces, toupees etc. which are now fashionable beauty products.
